3) New dash about a foot longer.  Needs to be shortened

1) Started with ia '49-'50's
Ford dashboard

2) The plan, cut into multiple pieces & rearrange.

4) Remove the Speedo area and strip to bare metal

5) Relocate Speedo and shorten the glovebox

6) Fill in the remaining holes and finish the welds

7) Cut out old dash using a jig saw (not the best tool for the job). Best to leave some extra metal then grind to fit.

8) Test fitted. Had to cut into 2 pieces, then fit (alligned from both edges).

9) Used the stock speedo housing so a stock VW speedo will fit w/no mods.

10) Left half welded in

11) Right half welded, leaving a big gap in the middle

12) Gap all filled

13) a coat of POR-15

14) Ashtray hole filled and body filler sanded applied

15) Brushed on primer.  Still needs minor work but will remain as is for now
