Goal: rake the 'B' pillar back
1) piecut the pillar then bend
2) Re-angled pillar compared to a stock vertical pillar
3) Re-angled pillartest fitted
4) About 6" in the lower half to match the sectioned quarter panels
5) Closeup view of the latch area (stock latch removed)
6) Took off a section off the roof to be relocated back to match the new 'B' pillar location
7) Piece test fitted in new location, curve area needs to be reshaped
8) Spot welded in place
9) Inner view. Used the donor roof to fill in the added length (the blue part on top of the frame)
10) Messed up on reshaping the corner, so cut off the same area off my donor roof to retry
12) All welded in place and grinded smooth. A more natural curve then my 1st try
13) Inner view, passenger side 'B' pillar finished
11) Test fitted, not where I piecut the area copared to my 1st try allowing for a smoother curve
14) Time to start the driver side door 'B' pillar
15) Steps similar as other side, so not much explanations needed. Pillar mocked up
16) Bottom half welded
17) Cut to be relocated
19) Pillar almost complete, no dodnor pillar needed on this half
18) Was able to recurve the corner of the window right the 1st try this time
20) Both pillars complete, now for the front half of the door frames
