


























1) Plan to raise the front axle to lower the car by tilting the framehead up, almost like a Z'd frame that's typical with American hotrods
2) Stock measurement, about 2.5" off the ground
3) Cut a pie shaped slit on top of the chassis
5) Make sure everything's square and even, then welded top and bottom slits shut. New measurement is now about 5" off the ground, giving a 2.5" suspension drop.
4) Need to cut the bottom of the tunnel as well. With both sides cut, the framehead can be easily bent to desired height.
6) Along with the body drop modification, the front apron now sits about an inch off the ground but the axle beams at about 10" off the ground. A lowered look with a stock comfy ride.
7) The piecut gives a caster to the front end. If I even out the caster back to neutral, it should lower the front end some more. Here's a diagram that should help explain that theory (click icon)
